Му simple and familiar story

I'm Anastasia, I chose Frida Barbarisovna as my pen name. I am an illustrator from Kharkiv (Ukraine). You all know what's happening to my country and my homecity. Now I see my mission in what I am, bringing warmth and light to this world and, in such a way to be useful and restore my country after the devastating war.

I specialize in illustrating children's books and designing postcards. All my works are made in watercolor and edited digitally.

Seems like I've been drawing since I remember myself. But besides it, I was making good progress in other things, like dancing and foreign languages. At home I got the idea that drawing wasn’t a good thing to make money on today, so first I got my higher education in languages.

Since that days my life has changed so many times, but my love to drawing remained the same. And I thought that it has its meaning and reasons. So in 2019 I've decided to become a children's book illustrator and never regretted about this choice.

Winner of Democracy Frontline Visual Art contest in 2022.

I have been working with private customers so far, though I dream about collaboration with a publishing house.
I am currently searching for representation.
